Is "Dark Matter" in another universe?

I recently heard it suggested that the weakness of gravity, compared to the other fundamental forces, might be explained if it “leaked” into other universes  that are adjacent to ours in a higher dimension.  If this were so, might the gravity from those universes not also leak into ours?

As I understand it, we infer the presence of “Dark Matter” from its gravitational influence, and suppose it to comprise the majority of matter in our universe, despite our inability to observe it directly. Might its invisibility be because it is not in our universe?

This explanation seems also to offer possible causes for other discrepancies between our expectations and our observations of gravitational effects such as that associated with Pioneer.

What is the power output of the visible universe?

This worm hole I'm constructing needs a lot of power to keep it open. I gather it needs about as much power as there is in the visible universe.

How do I set about harnessing this energy source? Obviously I need to concentrate it in a fairly small area, maybe a few of square metres, or at least big enough for me to climb through it.

What technical hurdles do I need to overcome?

Given matter-energy equivalence, matter cannot travel at c, so how can energy(light) travel at c?

In other words, light shouldn't travel at the speed of light.

Sun

I heard that the sun does not have a surface ( that it is for example as dence as a cloud) if ths is true, what keeps the sun in a spherical shape? does it have a force acting upon it to keep its shape?

How old is ET?

The other night, after watching the film Avatar, I was thinking about the possibility of real ET's somewhere in our universe. Holywood usually depicts them as only slightly more, or less, advanced than ourselves, but statistically (unless most intelligent races eventually self destruct) our distant neighbours should be millions, or even billions of years more advanced than ourselves. So, assuming a liferorm somewhat like ours, when did conditions first exist for intelligent life to evolve in the universe, and what should be the average age of any real ET race we encounter?

Can reality be infinitely subdivided.

Do all objects contain further subdivisions or does the chain of subdivision end at some ultimately elementary particle.

If this is true then how can any part of the universe be non homogenous to another. What would make one part different to another if the particles that construct it are all the same ?

And if matter is infinitely subdivided at some point would we not reach and infinitely simple particle and again find the same paradox as above ?

This baffles me profusely. ouch
