when a plane flys upside down the grown looks as if its above you. what would you experience if you could land upside down

if you could design a plane to safely land upside down would the earths gravity feel as if its pulling you upwards for a moment. If not what would you experience as you adjust?

Why walk when you can ride?

The steeper the road, the slower I cycle - to the point where I am reduced to walking speed. Is there a gradient beyond which the mechanical advantage offered by a bicycle diminishes to the same (or less than) walking?

How much damage could a stray firework do to a passenger plane fuselage?

It's Bonfire Night here in the UK tomorrow, a time when there are lots of stray fireworks in the sky. This fact, coinciding as it does with my flying off on holiday for a few days, prompted me to wonder just how much damage would be done if my plane was hit by a wandering firework - during takeoff of course, when the plane is at a low enough altitude to be hit.

Cheery thoughts!
