Hello!
I got an alienware m17 laptop about a year ago. It is really fast and has great graphics. It is great for graphic intense gaming and it seriously rocks. I anyway took great care of it. Something weird happened 2 months ago. The power button gave a minor shock. I was suprised. I took out the plug and put it back again. Then it was fine.
The next day it was again there, the same tingling sensation-no major shock, just tngling sensation. About a month back I put a transparent tape on it and it was fine. Later, The left speaker and the area above the speakers started giving a minor shock which used to go away after i turn it on for about 5 minutes. Since i live in India which is hot and humid, i sweat a lot and whenever my wrist used to touch that place i used to get shocked.
There are no electricity leaks from anywhere else. We have no carpets so it couldn't have been static electricity from my body. I always turn of the main power swith when the laptop is turned off.
Somebody please suggest me what to do about this problem.
