Jason, I#39;m the opposite; I can wiggle either both or just my left ear. If I try and wiggle my right then my scalp moves as well. I remember practicing in front of a mirror when I was a child as my father could wiggle just his right ear.As to Pierre-Francois#39; hypothesis, I#39;m left handed and my father right handed.Paul
I can wiggle both ears, and my right ear alone. I can also raise only my left eyebrow alone and can’t move right... But also I can bend my fingers at the top joint with all other joints extended so the finger looks almost broken – and I learned it through practice until all muscles and other tissues were under my command (oh, the silly things I teach myself… ;-)). Perhaps some early twist in our development determined us to be in more control over some parts and not others, but many times that can be solved with practice.
I can wiggle my left one smoothly, my right one not as strong as the left gets tired quickly. Im right handed, altough im right footed aswell but my left foot is just strong as my right foot then again. see where we#39;ere going :)
