It#39;s to allow the ink to flow. Without it, using teh ink would slowly create a partial vacuum in the casing which would eventually stop the ink flowing. (Perhaps!)try blocking the hole amp; seeing if teh pen eventually stops working!

There was a documentary on the Discovery Health channel which showed a fetus in situ fetus. This is a fetus that has fully developed inside of another fetus. I would think that this double egg is the same kind of thing.

It is very easy. The egg unfertilized is the equivalent of a period. One dis-attached from the wall of the uterus early and for some odd reason wasn't expelled, allowing another to form around it. Due to chickens being bred to lay an egg everyday the chicken wouldn't have to retain the egg very long before another one started forming around it.
