well...cumin, anis seed, fennel, caraway are all part of the same plant family (Apiaceae) which means they share similar essential oils. You simply don't like one or more components of these essential oils.the other three are little bit weird beause different categories. Cardamon is related to ginger and turmeric so i wonder whether you have the same "tasty problem" with them? The same for Tarragon and Capers. If you like to know check the components of these plants and see whether you find similar chemical substances... xx
