How long will a satellite orbit the moon?

I was reading today that the Indians have lost contact with their lunar orbiter. The moon has a negligible atmosphere so there should be no drag. The only non-gravitational force I can think of is the solar wind. This force is very small and complicated to calculate so the answer to how long the Indian satellite will orbit the moon has eluded me. Has anyone got an idea?

Well, I found the answer. As usual with such things reordering the words in a well known search engine turned up completely different results.

Compared with the Earth the Moon has a very non-uniform gravitational field. This makes lunar orbits inherently unstable. An initial almost circular orbit will become progressively more elliptical until the ellipse intersects the lunar surface and the satellite crashes. Since there is no atmosphere the satellite hits at orbital velocity.
