Mitochondrial DNA analysis, indicates that all human race came from a single woman that existed about 140,000 years ago.

Does the Neanderthal has a different ancestor? And where they came from?

I don't get it. Were all the other females at the time unable to produce children? Was there only one female at the time? I don't think it makes any sense.

agreed, i suppose it touches on the survival of the fittest part of evolutional theory. Darwin's theories have yet to be fully proven and many questions still remain.

Geneneticist agree, tracing the mitochondrial DNA of every one alive today back to an ancestral female who lived in Africa roughly 150.000 or 140.000 years ago.

I'm answering myself to this question, of which I've already find an answer some where else. I'm doing this if there is some one interested on knowing it, I'll help by submitting this answer:

Neanderthal man, These hominids were wide spread in Europe and western Asia. When theories of human evolution picked up steam, many accepted Neanderthals as the ancestors of modern Europeans. This belief was ultimately disproved by mitochondrial DNA research on the original set of neanderthal bones. The 40,000-year-old DNA sequence identified Neanderthals as a species distinct from humans.
