Reply	mollett says: the emission of electromagnetic waves in the form of heat and light as electrons move to lower descreet energy levels determind by their new configurations in the new molecules being formed. The wavelenghth of light emitted indicate the level of drop in energy of the electrons thereby describing the new bonds formed which are particular to the creation of certain molecules from certain elements.
