Well, this is a blog, after all! If we all got our answers peer-reviewed before publication, we would get precious little done and would be of precious little use to anyone. In the process of being impulsively helpful we inevitably will have  occasional for a blush or two. Remember my failure to recognise those salps for example; I'll not be the first to point fingers; welcome to the club!

BTW, bearing in mind that personal questions are not in the contract, and accordingly that you are welcome to bite my head off by way of reply, I must say that I have found your nom de plume intriguing. Do you in fact do translations, particularly professionally?
