If enough of it gets high enough to travel round the world with jet streams, yes, in the areas with clear air. Where there is a lot of pollution you might not notice much difference (Pittsburg for example?)
Pretty sunsets are about as near as I can get to suggesting a compensation for many kinds of atmospheric pollution. I live near Cape Town, and some of our sunsets are stunning.
Turner would have despaired...
But don't hold your breath. Although there was a lot of the right kind of dust, I don't know how much was injected vertically into the stratosphere.
