Why do I shiver when I yawn?

It doesn't happen every time and it's more likely to happen with a larger yawn but I shake/shiver when I yawn and I was just wondering why. Also does everyone get this or is it just me?

Yes, I get that too. It's also common(ish) to see cats and dogs with the same symptoms. Why? no-one has the faintest idea. We don't even know what yawns are yet! (There are theories though ...)
