If every human on the planet returned to their country of birth, how different would the spread of people around the world be?

The US, which has over  half of the world's immigrants, has an estimated 38 million first generation immigrants. So, worldwide about 70 million in a population of 7 billion means only 1% of the people would be resettled. Of course individual countries would vary enormously, but I doubt if it would affect the population rankings to any significant amount
