Hello Jon,

I think, aside that Busch was ectremely successful in Germany

with respect to "selling" until today, another difference is that

his humor is not as black as Grahams by far. 

Busch makes a lot of Jokes on plain people and "Spießbürger",

but he mostly keeps some sympathy with his "victims".

And, the sketches are really excellent caricatures.

And no, till now I  read some short story from Bierce.

For the time being, I will read more of Graham.
