Stephen Hawking theorised that Black Holes emit a form of radiation decades ago, even though they are reputed to suck the life out of everything. Recently, the CERN LHC has been built to try and conduct some experiments to prove or disprove Stephen's theory. Can someone explain the experiments currently in progress that will prove or disprove that Black Holes emit radiation? What are these experiments? What is the systematic process used to create the necessary conditions whereby we can understand how a Black Hole behaves?
