Why do newborns/infants smell nice?

My daughter is nearly 4 weeks old and she has that 'new baby smell' which my wife and I find absolutely lovely. We have so far only bathed her in clean water (no baby-wash or soap) and have only used lotion a couple of times when she's had dry skin, so her smell is all her own. Is this some sort of evolutionary device to encourage us to take care of her? Would other people find our baby's smell as lovely?

Itches that move

On scratching an itch the itch seems if it is moving away from the area being scratched, thus causing you to chase it with your scratching. Why does the itch move?

Contagious Yawns

I was on the phone to my wife when i heard her yawn, not at my conversation though I hope. This then caused me to yawn within seconds. The same happens if you are in the same room as another individual and they yawn. Why does this event occur?
