I took this picture whilst travelling in the Longsheng area of Southern China, towards the end of last October. Can anyone please explain what these creatures are, and what they are doing?

How hard would I need to blow on a flying insect at a distance of say 10 centimetres from a wall or table etc. to stun it as they seem be have a very high bouncability factor?
I killed a fly to feed to my ants, and when I placed it in the container 30-40 larvae emerged from the abdomen. The image shows my ants heading to the larvae, and a larvae emerging from the abdomen of the fly.
Any idea what it's trying to do? Is it trying to eat the sprinkles? They seem way too large. Can ladybirds lick things? It looks like it is playing, but is there any evidence of playful behavior in insects?
