Can a seed possibly be flung into space and be able to land on a very distant atmospheric planet and safely germinate?

I'm also asking is it possible that another planets seeds have landed on our earth or CAN?

Basically i think its possible because space is a vacuum as well as being very very cold so i was thinking that would preserve the seed long enough to land on a planet and sprout creating the first life on another planet?

has this been asked?

I took a photo of this, what on earth is it?

Description of image: It has a tiny hole in it (almost visible in the pic) and hairline fractures (not visible in pic). Image taken using a USB microscope. Found the object on my shirt cuff. it measures 0.9mm diameter and is spherical.
