Can a seed possibly be flung into space and be able to land on a very distant atmospheric planet and safely germinate?

I'm also asking is it possible that another planets seeds have landed on our earth or CAN?

Basically i think its possible because space is a vacuum as well as being very very cold so i was thinking that would preserve the seed long enough to land on a planet and sprout creating the first life on another planet?

has this been asked?

can gravity be described without using a model that references space or time an an analogy

We all know that 2x/4x = 4x/8x does not tell us what x is because is cancelled out being referenced on both sides.

Describing  an egg as egg shaped does not tell us what the shape of an egg is.

So why do models gravity using a picture of a “gravity hole  in a mesh of time” as if the weight of a ball is distorting a frame of time. This, surly, is a circular reference effectively saying gravity looks like gravity. Additionally this model has some rather poor comparison’s. And if the mesh is three dimensional then what are the axis of this mesh?  Does this imply time have 3 dimension’s?  Showing a picture of a moving ball rotating around a gravity ball includes a reference to time to describe time itself. Giving two layers of self-reference.

Can anyone explain to the lay public what gravity is without using self-reference. ?

How Dark is it in deep space?

Whenever you see the Starship Enterprise off on a mission, an 'outside' shot always shows the vessel in full visiblity - but how visible would it be? must you always be illuminated by lights on the top, or a planet nearby? If we were away from any planets and suns, and I were to space walk a few hundred yards away from the ship, and it had no lights on the outside, would I only see stars and a black 'shadow' where the ship was? Or is there always residual light? could I for example see my own hand in front of my face? or is there a point where you can see nothing nearby, but only stars and galaxies in the distance?

What (on Earth?) makes footprints like this?

These photos were taken in my parent's garden, Gloucestershire, during the snowy weather in January earlier this year.

The first photo shows the footprints starting near to the back door of their house, the second shows them making their way past the side of the house in a very straight line and the final photo shows them simply stopping.

We're still all very puzzled and wondered if anyone had any theories or ideas?

I know that the moon controls the tides on earth, but how? What do we mean by 'controls'?

How can a body so far away from earth be so influential?

What is really meant by 'the moon controls the tides'?

Why do orbital space craft have to slow down via atmosphere braking?

Could not one slow down in near vacuum and then simply return to earth at a much more sedate pace, thus negating the need for heat shielding?
