Why do I yawn and stretch? Regardless of how well I slept, I find myself yawing and stretching throughout the day. Why do I stretch? What is the purpose? Does it really do anything?

Why do I shiver when I yawn? It doesn't happen every time and it's more likely to happen with a larger yawn but I shake/shiver when I yawn and I was just wondering why. Also does everyone get this or is it just me?
