Can computers pass themselves off as human beings?

Recently I texted some customer feedback to a bus company. I received a reply, and there followed an exchange of several messages each way. It was only when I texted the same company on another occasion, and received identically-worded messages, that I began to suspect I might not be communicating with another human being. If I was right, does this mean that their computer program has passed the Turing test?

What causes lag?

Lag is the #1 enemy of ametuer gamers, such as myself. It is when your computer or console is 'behind' everyone elses. I have once or twice knife an enemy on my PS3 and then a couple seconds later find im watching killcam and had been killed miles away from when my PS3 registered it.

How can one prove that a list of prime numbers from 2 to X contains all the prime numbers in between?

I can verirify that every nunber in a list is prime, but how can I prove (without recourse to an existing list - which i would have to take on faith) that no prime has been omitted?
