Why do meals become more spicy when frozen? I have noticed that when currys or chillies are frozen to eat later, they 'mature' and become noticeably hotter. Can anyone expain this?

Why are some foods more likely to cause hiccups? If I eat spicy food such as a hot curry or a dish with chilli, I consistently get hiccups. Many people get hiccups after consuming carbonated drinks.
