Water used to soak soiled laundry with plain vanilla detergent seemed cooler to the touch than with less soiled laundry. Why?

The water came from one full pail and I had divided the water into 2 portions. Both washings were done at the same time.

why do my windows get condensation in summer and NOT in winter and could it be steam instead?

We installed secondary double glazing, one consequence of which was reduction in condensation on inside panes in winter. However, in one room, condensation (or something) appears in SUMMER on the INSIDE of the double glazing ie in between the two panes. The room is more or less south facing, so gets lots of sun over the day. Can this be condensation?

Are we all blind?

Last week, I helped a blind guy cross the road and while we were crossing the road I asked him if blind people can hallucinate and have dreams. He said "Of course we can". I researched this and it turns out that blind people can in fact hallucinate.

This got me thinking. I was wondering if it is possible that we are all blind and we are all hallucinating the same things?

Apple melt

The snow at the base of our small apple trees melts before snow elsewhere has melted. We've seen this under other trees too. Why?
