In my dream once I found myself do what I want, I can satisfied myself by let things happened, even control what to happens next. Is it just my dream or I had a lucid dream?

Do people with Autism dream any differently from most people?

I'm interested in possible links between dreaming and concept generalisation/association. I'd therefore be keen to know about any evidence which might link Autism to non-standard dreaming.

Dreams

I have always been facinated about dreams, and read thoroughly about lucid dreaming. i belive that i have implemented lucid dreaming at its basics; telling myself that i am in a dream and actually being consious of it. i have also been able to control my dream by deciding what to do. when normally you have no control. would this be ludid dreaming, and do you have anymore interesting information about dreams or of the reason we dream as i would be interested in knowing. i know that some bodily functions are paralised temporarily to avoid injury, and that you move in your sleep to stop bed sores. does the reason for dreaming go back to primitive times? or is it just because your mind is replaying events because it has nothing better to do?

Why do we have nightmares?

I know that dreaming is an important part of the sleep cycle and it has various benefits on your general health.

What puzzles me is why my sub concious choses to think about things that scare me enough to wake myself and the rest of the house up screaming from time to time? Is there any benefit to dreaming about things that scare us? If not, wouldn't it be a lot easier if we just dreamed of going on holiday, getting a promotion or wining the lottery?

Do blind people dream?

I was wondering if people that are blind their whole lives have dreams. If they do dream, can they see things or is it just sounds or feelings?
