What is the power output of the visible universe?

This worm hole I'm constructing needs a lot of power to keep it open. I gather it needs about as much power as there is in the visible universe.

How do I set about harnessing this energy source? Obviously I need to concentrate it in a fairly small area, maybe a few of square metres, or at least big enough for me to climb through it.

What technical hurdles do I need to overcome?

Where does the Kinetic energy of a reforming foam ball go?

Ok so, I have a foam ball that i squeeze and then release;

Chemical energy from my muscles is converted into kinetic energy that moves my hand, that kinetic energy is converted into strain potential energy when the ball is deformed which when i release is converted back into kinetic energy as the ball re forms, conservation of energy means this kinetic energy much be converted or conserved in some way. Is it just converted into kinetic energy possessed by surrounding air molecules as it pushes them out of the way?....Is there something i am missing?

One extra question; Can the commonly used term 'sound energy' be accurately described mealy as kinetic energy of the molecules that make up the medium within which the sound is traveling? i.e. the kinetic energy of molecules within the air.

Where does Io get its heat from?

I know that Io is volcanic because its elliptical orbit makes it stretch and contract causing friction. But if I look at energy transfer its kinetic to heat energy, but the kinetic energy comes from the elliptical orbit which only exists because of the gravitational pull of Europa and Callipso, yet gravity is one of the four forces of nature and not an energy. How?

Technology using vacuums?

Basically, would it be possible to base some electrical or other type of machinery or technology on the transfer of different types of energy through a vacuum such as heat through radiation or light?

Is there any technology which uses this at the moment, but with an actual vacuum as compared to fibre optics or something?

Surely to the extent where you wouldn't necessarily have to pump the gas out to create a vacuum surely this would be cheaper than using actual materials?

Anyway just a thought, any answers would be appreciated.
