I've seen many old men who have a bald head with a ring of hair around it. Any particular reason why most people lose their hairs starting from the forehead, making it's way to the centre of their heads?
My second daughter has bright red hair, but my wife is blonde and i have dark brown hair.....would this indicate that there must have been other red heads in our family history or is it just a fluke of nature.
When I grow a beard, ginger and grey facial hairs start to appear amongst my usual dark coloured hairs, but only after about a week or so of growth. Is this a case of the original hairs changing colour (or appearing to change colour) over time, or is there some reason why the ginger and grey coloured hairs appear to start growing at a later stage in the life of my beard? Any suggestions gratefully received.
I have noticed that some of my beard hair is about 5 times as thick as my "regular" hair. This made me curious so I compared a few random hairs from my beard and noticed in fact most of them were not of the exact same thickness. I talked to my father and he seems to have some very thick hair on his eyebrows and beard as well. I couldn't successfully find my answers with google or wiki or find anything in the last word so any experts out there? Speaking of which, WHO is the expert for hair physiology? Dermatologists or my hair stylist?
