How can air exhaled from your lungs come out both hot and cold?

When exhaling with your lips pursed ie. to cool a hot drink, the air comes out cold, but when exhaling with your mouth open ie. to warm your hands, the air comes out hot. How is it possible for the air to come out both hot and cold?

Why does the space between my ear and my skull smell like cheese?

Recently, I have had a bout of exma in the small space between the top of my ear and my head. Whenever I scratch behind there, my finger smells like very strong (and slightly off) cheese for about half an hour afterwards. Even after the exma has gone, the smell lingers. Is there any reason for that?

What is the purpose of male puberty? Why aren't men born ready to reproduce?

I realise that women need to be physically strong enough to bear children, so puberty is necessary to adapt their bodies to childbirth. But if the purpose of life is to reproduce, we would be able to do it more if men could reproduce from birth

Global warming and human beings

Probably is a blind shot, but I would like to ask if somebody has calculated the impact in global warming of the direct heat. I am thinking for example in the human population (almost 7 billion with a constant  average temperature of 36.5 º C). And not only that, but the average temperature of all the cattle in the world kept by humans, (billions of animals that otherwise wouldn´t exist). Also we could think in the heat from fires (both wildfires and the small ones) and the heat that escapes from our homes, vehicules or industries.

If a sufficiently powerful cosmic ray struck the air above you, would the radiation shower be enough to be lethal?

I hear some cosmic rays have the energy of baseballs or even trucks on a highway.  If one of those hit in the atmosphere and produced a particle shower, I presume it would not be good for living creatures underneath?

Are fingerprints truly unique to each of us?

I noticed my husband and I have the same types of prints on the same fingers, this includes a whorl on the thumb and index finger of our right hand. Is this a common occurrence? (We are not related!)

imperfect symetry

I have noticed that the veins and arteries in my arms are not symmetrical. Although there are a lot of examples where the left and right sides of the body are not perfect mirror images of each other as in the case of one ear being higher than the other, why does this occur with the network of veins in my arms. They have to bring blood to and from the same muscles in both arms, why do they branch off in different patterns?
