Why does my urine smell of Sugar Puffs

This is not a wind up.

I occasionally enjoy a bowl of Sugar Puffs and I notice that a day or so after a bowl my urine takes on a distinct aroma of the said cereal.

I am a science teacher and this self same question was posed by one of my students much to the amusement of the rest of the class

Insensitivity to perfumes/deos after too much of use, even though of different varieties

I have been using perfumes/deos for the last few years and i think that after so many years of the use, i have become insensitive to their smell, even though i have been using different perfumes/deos. Earlier, even after one shot, i could smell them, but now, even after putting many shots, i can't smell much; and my co-workers point out that i am wearing too much perfume. Do our noses become insensitive to any smell of perfumes after smelling too much perfumes?

What are the negatives about myelinated neurons?

I am currently studying A level biology, and we have just learnt about myelinated neurons, and have been taught about the possitives, and I was just wondering if there was anything bad about them? Also if they are so good, then why aren't all of our neurons myelinated? Thanks in advance, Josh.

How is it that allergies can suddenly affect people (and perhaps come to an end)?

How is it that allergies can suddenly affect people (and perhaps come to an end)? I became aware that I could no longer take Pernod and other pastis based drinks. I also suddenly became allergic to having leather next to my skin (belts, watch strap, sandals - no I don't wear socks with them...), it producing severe burn like symptoms.

Perceiving Colors

Do we all perceive color the same way ? for example do we all see the same color green or is the word green or red or blue just names to tag how we perceive those color. If I switched eyes with someone he might see the grass the same way as I perceive the sky but still call it green even though for me it would be blue.

The same goes for colorblind people (those unfortunate to mix up colors) if they were brought up seeing the grass as we would see it red. He would say green to everything red if we were able to see through his eyes. It would rely on education then.

Do I make sense ?
