Light that moves faster than c

If two spaceships departed from a planet and accelerated away from the planet in opposite directions until reaching 3/4 the speed of light would it be possible for them to send an electromagnetic (light) signal between each other?

I can see two possible answers but am unable to pick between them

1)  The spaceships are moving faster than the speed of light relative to each other and so no signal can be passed between them

2)  A signal could be sent from ship A to the home planet and then retransmitted to ship B, in this situation light would never travel faster than c.

Could tacyon particles if they do indeed exist perform calculation in a kind of subspace?

My theory on how this would work is that say you have the physics set up to produce tacyon particles. Then you have a network that you know they will follow at superluminal speeds. Would they interact (that is tacyons interact with tacyons)through that network? Then when the network is finished its calculation.

it would have to interact with a stream of newly created tacyons particles because those that are already calculating would be impossible to tell when they where finished. Those finished calculations would then interact at a somewhat random time when finished calculation, true given calculation of superluminal velocities you would be able to calculate aprox how long things should take.

If we travelled 70 million light years away would we see dinosaurs when looking at earth?

If we hypothetically had the technology to travel 70 million light years away in an instant, along with some form of powerful telescope...when you looked at earth would you see earth as it was 70 million years ago, dinosaurs and all?

Travelling of light

my question is as we can see the sun with naked eye, it is older than 8 mintues (calculated as per light travels in one year). which means if we see the current space or maybe a galaxy or stars they are older to recent time so how can we see the recent activity of stars and galaxy? Are we looking old stuff of space ? Can we ever look at the newer stuff of space ?

Could you receive a phone call from someone when you are travelling at almost light speed?

If you were on a space ship travelling at almost the speed of light and someone from Earth called you and managed to connect what would that be like? Since you are both experiancing different time relative to your speeds what would happen?

Space Time Confusion

If there is a spaceship travelling at nearly the speed of light, say 99.9%, as far as I know an observer will see it has travelled 1 light year in just over a year. However, for a passenger on that ship, time will slow down relative to that observer so will they think they have travelled a light year in less than a year and therefore faster than the speed of light? Is this possible or have I misunderstood something?

Stopping Light

It is already possible to stop light in extremely low temperature BEC (Bose- Einstein Condensate) But, if i took say, a space ship and travelled at 300,000 meters per second (The speed of light in a vacuum), relative to Earth, and mounted a light on the back, would the light travelling in the opposite direction to the ship, be travelling at the same speed as the Earth?
