A chest cold made my voice deeper (and sexier apparently). What caused this? Can I get the deep voice without the cold?

Why cant my dog speak?

I understand that a dog is not capable of producing the sounds required to converse in a human language. However, would it be possible to develop a language made up of sounds that both a human and a dog could produce so that they may "converse" on some level?

Are animals able to communicate with each other by their voices, or is there like humans, a form of language barrier?

I was sitting outside today and couldn't help overhearing two species of birds singing back to each other. I could tell that they were different species (one was a Tui) but they seemed like they were having a loud conversation across my yard.

It got me thinking... Is a certain animal species able to speak/sing to other species of animals which aren't the same as it?

Does anyone have an answer to end my wondering?

Thanks

Liam :)
